Group Therapy

Group therapy offers a unique opportunity for individuals to connect, share, and grow together. We provide group therapy sessions that foster a sense of community, understanding, and mutual support.

  • Groups are limited to 6-8 individuals

  • Group sessions are 80 minutes

  • Tuesdays at 7:30pm; $50 per session

  • Age: 18 and up

Grief is painful, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Grief Process Group: loss of a parent

Led by Sarah Heinss and Luke Thimmesch

When:

Tuesdays 7:30-8:50pm. 8 sessions total. Starting October 15th and running through December 17th.

Specific dates: 10/15, 10/22, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17. You must be able to attend 6 out of the 8 sessions.

What to expect

Explore feelings related to loss of a parent, develop supportive relationships, receive encouragement, and gain new perspectives in a safe and confidential environment. This is a therapist-led group that provides a space to explore the nature of grief, share experiences, enhance social skills, receive support, and explore interpersonal dynamics with others experiencing grief.

Process vs. Support Group

Process groups focuses on change through professional facilitation, goal-oriented discussions, and therapeutic techniques. It models the in-depth nature of individual therapy, but in a group setting. In contrast, Support Groups aim to foster coping and peer support, often with less formal structure and facilitation.

Cost

$200 per month for 2 months ($ 50 per session, paid in monthly installments)
