Hey there,
Annmarie understands that the human experience can bring people through many seasons of immense pain, uncertainty and heartache. Her own experience of loss has influenced her journey into the counseling profession. Annmarie’s interest in how people heal has led her to work with a myriad of clients that include anxiety, depression, trauma, women’s issues and more. She believes in the transformative work of being attuned to and working towards understanding patterns that no longer work for us.
Beginning therapy can be an important and vulnerable step towards change or a new perspective. In therapy sessions, Annmarie works with her clients together to form a trusting relationship built on curiosity and authenticity. From there, she will work to identify your goals and a better understand of your concerns and the experiences that have brought you to counseling. She believes that the counseling room is sacred, and there is room for profound sorrow, great joy, and every emotion in between. In sessions with Annmarie, she will partner with you to create space to understand your past and present, and then work towards achieving goals and discovering pathways that lead towards meaningful connection, change, and wellness.
Annmarie has her Master’s in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis on trauma work. In her free time, she loves to play around with film and photography, drink coffee, go to shows, and laugh with both her family and her friends as often as possible.
