Hey there,

Colleen is dedicated to creating a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe and supported. She uses a tailored and flexible approach to meet clients' needs and help them achieve their goals. Colleen practices from a strengths-based perspective and believes there is endless hope for healing and restoration for every person. She believes change can happen in many ways in therapy. Often, it is a process of understanding oneself, experiencing compassion and hope through the therapeutic relationship, engaging in evidenced-based interventions, and utilizing the incredible courage inside every person to take practical steps toward health and healing.

Colleen believes in the power and beauty of diversity and works with her clients to understand the uniqueness of their experience in the world. She specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, faith and spirituality, relationship issues, and multicultural challenges.

Colleen received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University, Chicago, IL, and her BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York.

It’s been refreshing to come into a space with no judgement where I feel seen and heard. We’ve begun to scratch the surface on some feelings and that has been wonderfully enlightening (and painful but I’m learning to sit with that a bit).

I gained many helpful things working with Colleen including uncovering issues in the past that influence the present, tools to reduce anger and frustration, and emotional regulation. Colleen understands me, yet never judges me. She provides a safe environment to share and uncover the areas that I need to work on. I really am so thankful for her and the way in which she has helped me to improve myself.
