Hey there,

Sidra is a warm, thoughtful therapist who takes a client-centered, strengths-based approach to counseling. She provides a safe environment for clients to pursue healing and to explore concerns around anxiety, depression, grief, and life and career transitions.

Working with both individual adults and adolescents, Sidra enjoys collaborating with clients who seek to understand their experiences, identify unhelpful patterns, and find meaning and purpose in their lives. She holds a master’s degree in mental health counseling and has a background in international communications.

What clients say about Sidra

Sidra has been the most impactful therapist I’ve ever had. She has helped me start to resolve my past trauma to live more in the present. I’ve learned so much about my emotions and reactions, and how to be nicer to myself. [She] gave me tools for better communication with my partner and for setting boundaries with people I am less comfortable with.
— Former Client
Sidra is a huge asset to my teenage daughter. She feels comfortable talking with Sidra about all the ups and downs of teenage life. This has helped her so much [and] she looks forward to therapy every week.
— Parent of Former Client
I’ve become much happier with how things are going in my life, and the “bad” parts don’t feel as terrible as they used to. The regrets, disappointments, sadness, frustration from my past sting less now. I’m much better at handling stress and anxiety, especially comparing myself to a couple years ago. I’ve learned to be more gentle to myself, and give myself the space needed to heal and grow. I have learned and improved more with my sessions with Sidra than in all my other years of therapy combined, and I’ll always carry her thoughtful words with me. [She] is thoughtful, kind, empathetic, and never made me feel bad about therapy or myself. I never felt judged—in fact, I felt more reassured about my actions and my thoughts.
— Former Client
Sidra is kind, non-judgmental, and attentive! I feel safe to open up and share my experiences. Our sessions go by very quickly and I enjoy our time together. Therapy has given me a place to take up space and process emotions/thoughts out loud rather than just in my head. I’ve gained a better understanding of my thought patterns and how they impact my emotions and behavior. I’ve also been able to process past experiences, which has helped me begin the process of letting go of some of my emotional burdens.
